Hello! I am Indian and I noticed Willow Smith wearing a bindi in her music video for "Why Don't You Cry". Would you consider that appropriation? I thought so at first but wanted to get a second opinion and make sure I'm not jumping to conclusions

It is! Willow has been known to do shit like that. Though, she is a minor and we’re all not born self-aware. Hopefully she’ll learn the error of her ways as she matures.

Hey! If you're concerned about repost blogs flooding the nail art tag, you can do what goths on tumblr do and have a special code tag just for original nail creators and not spam posts. They have #gothgoth instead of just #goth and it works

Ooh, I like this idea.  I feel like the repost blogs have pretty much hijacked #nail art, which is frustrating for someone who is super into nail art and wants to be part of a real nail art community.

Maybe something like #actual nail art?  Anybody else interested in this?

1)  if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?FIRST OF ALL Hyperbole and a Half. Pretty much all of it. I don’t know if there’s anything particular in Harry Potter or Fall Out Boy specific to me, but it has a lot to do with the way I think, like my own personal language.

2)  have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?I think Lindy and I kinda think pretty similarly! I met her on a Harry Potter RP site like, 5 years ago. She’s very similar to me, except blonde, and a lesbian.

16) if you’d grown up in a different environment, do you think you’d have turned out the same?NO I think about this all the time because I was born in this teensy Jewish suburb in Pennsylvania and moved to LA when I was six. Teensy Jewish suburb had like, two whole black people and one Japanese boy and that was it that was the diversity.

I think I’m about to enter a low point of depression,  for I’ve been thinking about all the terrible people I met in high school and how they have treatment me and others. But I need to address all the wonderful people I did meet.

I can’t thank you guys enough for being the wonderful people you are but also accepting me with open arms at any time, especially when it feels like everyone else pushes me away. Unfortunately, I am not into the same music or tv shows (except jack) as you, but there IS Steven Universe. 

I truly love you all, and “love” is not a word I use to describe my affection toward most people. I sincerely mean it when I drop the L-bomb. 

So to end this tear jerking post, I’d like to remind you of some of our favorite inside jokes.
