Shawn hunter relationship headcannons/shifting ideas

Shawn is a crow gf, even if he doesn't like something if you give it to him he'll love it forever

Start from the beginning in 6th grade, sit near Shawn and consistently give him stupid little items. He'll hate it at first but he'll grow to love it and chase you

If you get sick he won't leave your side

If he hears someone say anything about you he'll start something even if it was good lmao

If Cory Disliked you he'd break up with you, but he'd still look at you everyday

The first time he introduces you to his parents he doesn't apologize because he's not embarrassed

He always ends up hurt in some way, minorly but he wants you to kiss it better every time he stubs a toe

In reference to the above point, of you don't he'll chase you until he gets it

If you play 7 minutes in heaven he's sly and all but as soon as you get in the closet he gets nervous and flustered

He likes maxi skirts and cardigans more than he likes mini skirts and tank tops

He wants to talk about philosophy alot

Ngl I still love Topanga and Cory. The way they started the relationship was awesome. lol Cory was really trying hard NOT to like Topanga but then...it happened haha

 I think Topanga liked Cory first though...why idk...but the way the parents described it sounds kinda right...girls tend to like boys who tease them apparently

Who cares if the apartment came easy to Shawn and Angela?

Cory and Topanga are stuck in a stink hole cuz they rushed into marriage and didn't really think it through. That's their struggle that they have to overcome and that's okay.

But Shawn and Angela don't have to feel guilty about getting a better living situation. Like what do you mean they don't deserve it?

They have their own personal issues that's they've dealt with, especially Shawn. Losing his father , his mother running away, growing up in a trailer park with very little money, worried about his future. Why can't we have him have a little break in his life? Why can't we let him be happy?

He's had his chance to struggle, whereas Cory and Topanga for the most part have lived generally nice lives.

I'm not saying Corpanga deserve to struggle, I'm just saying not every couple has to go through what they are going to through in order to prove love is real or whatever.

Shawn and Angela can learn from them and be prepared to have a good plan for a home and stuff for marriage. They don't need a run down apartment for that.

Their love story is more about overcoming childhood experiences and growing up to not repeat their parents mistakes. They could've stayed together in the apartment till graduation and then found a nice job and moved out.

Show us how they are more planned, because there are couples who plan on life beyond their honeymoons.

Show us that different types of couples beside Cory X Topanga exist and tell us its okay.

S:4 E:16 It’s A Long Walk To Pittsburg Pt. 1

This episode may be one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen on TV and not only because Cory and Topanga have the most beautiful relationship but because of Shawn who believed unquestionably in his best friends goodness when he’s never believed in his own.

“Cory: You don’t really think she’s gonna leave do ya?

Shawn: No I don’t.

Cory: And why not?

Shawn: Because you don’t deserve that kind of pain.”

He loves them both so much that he just threw this out there casually. Shawn who has been left behind so many times in his life and feels certain it is his fault can only come to the conclusion that Topanga won’t leave Cory because he doesn’t deserve it. I can’t even handle that. Everyone’s foundation is crumbling, Cory and Topanga are heartbroken over their loss and Shawn is so confused, he can’t even seem to fathom the idea that someone can suffer who doesn’t deserve it. And all three of them have been the binding force of each other’s lives for years and now they’re drifting. I honestly can’t handle any of this. 😭
