I actually think it’s important to be bad at things. Not to improve. We just- need to be bad at things. To do something, not for the judgment of others, but for the joy of ourselves.

I can’t sing for shit but it’s my favorite thing to do. My voice squeaks and cracks, I can’t hold a note, but something about feeling so relaxed - so joyful - that you don’t care that you’re bad. That you’re doing things wrong, something about that is good. It’s a relief.

Life is not made to be good at things. Life is made for joy. For laughter and shared smiles.

So please, let yourself be bad at things.
