I’m 22, nearly 23. I didn’t do well in a levels at college so never went to university when I “should”. I recently signed up for some online courses because I decided I want to go to university... then I got pregnant! I’m still planning to go to university however it’s so unlikely to be for ages and ages. I don’t mind. It was going to be late anyway. People tell you you’ll be too old but it’s a lie, try not to let them get to you! When I was 18 I had never been kissed or anything, 1/2
2/2 I had mental health issues and didn’t think I had a future. I certainly didn’t think I would be planning to go to uni later on because I thought it’s too late! Now however I have a wonderful partner and baby and I’m looking forward to one day going to uni, even if I’m 40. Everyone goes their own pace and their own path and that’s fine! It’s something everyone struggles with but I know so many people who haven’t had a romantic relationship / been to uni who are over the “right age”! Xx
Omg congratulations on your little one !!!! It is absolutely a lie and the biggest and most dumbass one ever invented. I’m so glad though that you are so happy with where you are right now and I hope you and your love and your little bean are safe and well! I appreciate this so, so much, thank you for sharing, lovely 💖
