coming from a big and close family, james always planned and wanted one of his own, he just never really planned for it to happen so soon. he made pretty good money at his job, but he wasn’t sure he had enough to help pay for a child on top of college. still, he planned on helping his ex and son out however he could, even if that meant looking for a second job. ❝ so i uh, wanted to get something for him but i realized i don’t even really know what he likes or what he already has so... i got a teddy bear and a monkey, the lady at the store said they’re popular and who doesn’t like monkeys ?? ❞ he mused, digging through his backpack to find them. ❝ wait, what does he like ?? ❞ did babies even have preferences ??
