Anyone got an interesting way to use crutches whilst cosplaying?

If MCM is anything like last year then I'm going to need my crutches, but it takes the fun away from cosplaying with two lumpy metal sticks.

So far thinking of Al Elric when he returns to Risembool or Death The Kid with his Death Cannons (though that would be very difficult to make).

I dunno. Any suggestions?
