Ok so I know you wrote about a Bensnavi superhero au but what about one where one of them is a super villian? I could totally see their relationship is just bunch of snide comments and flirtatious remarks. Bonus points if they're still friends out of their suits and they have no idea

I raise you an AU where one of them is a super villain and the other is a super hero. 

Except the super villain is actually a Robin Hood-type figure. Often robs banks, but only banks that are stealing from people or are investing in amoral projects. And once the super hero gets wind of what’s really going on, makes every effort not to catch him.

“Oh no, I showed up mere seconds too late!”

“Oh, he’s at a different branch than this one? I must have gotten the wrong information.”

“How did he slip right past me? Foiled again!”

They end up forming a friendship, both as villain and hero and as Benny and Usnavi.
