Could be a lot worse.” Ash was far too casual in tone, almost having to fight the need to laugh at the scenario they found themselves in. “I mean,” he rose an arm out onto road with his thumb up, “if we used my car and had me driving, this probably wouldn’t have happened.” Unleashed, Chaos paced between Ash and Thalia like he was waiting for the next bus or car to pass them, which he essentially was.

“Which one of us is gonna dominate a guy to drive us to the next town over?”

In the shoddy bar in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night, the last thing he expected to see was a familiar face, one that happened to help herself to the empty seat next to him.
