The three gifts weren't there before! His actual daughter will be dropping by a little later on, so she'll pick up the big ol' box for her children. (Spoiler alert: they're going to love the blocks. Especially knocking the towers they build down seconds after making them.)
He gives Fledgling's gift to her. She unwraps it and her eye lights up! IT'S SO SOFT AND FLUFFY AND CUDDLY! It's been handstitched expertly with love! She skips over to Azura and gives her a BIG hug! "Thank you thank you thank you I love it so much!!!"
He picks up the one for himself and examines it. He's... not used to getting gifts so he may be getting a little choked up, aw. Unwrapping the gift carefully, he holds the figurine up to 'eye level' and gasps. "Oh, lassie. I love it..." Yep, there he goes. Soft grumpy bird grandpa is crying. "Thank yeh. Thank yeh so much...!" YES YOU BETTER BELIEVE HE WILL GIVE HER ANOTHER SOFT BIRD HUG.
