Let Down – Radiohead

Mixed butter chocolate and vanilla cookies, lemon mousse, white chocolate and red raspberry coulis
The Israeli reality hit me as I returned from a dreamy vacation. After a month of absolute detachment, I felt that the world is collapsing around me. Colorful people, yet each color has a disturbing shade. Radical people who annihilate any hope for a cosmic peace; mainstream people being dragged with the flow, and meanwhile no one stops for a second to look inside. Wild emotions burst out. A stormy reality, a radicalism that encourages apathy among some of us, mostly because of our inability to contain all this “goodness.” Thom Yorke’s unique intonation makes you feel every word. How much should we tolerate? Maybe we should just spread our wings and embark on an ever-lasting journey, endlessly moving from one place to another. And although it is a bit hollow and evading -- just don’t get sentimental. On the plate there are diverse butter people, frozen and disappointing, falling one by one like dominoes, as a dove of cosmic peace melts beside them under a warm stream.
