Heyyyyyyy! If Cosmo (Cucumber Quest) were to get any backstory about how and why they partnered with Glitchmaster or something, what do you think it'll be like?

oh MAN, I used to write for cosmo ( rp blog ) & let me tell you, I never really got to actually giving them & fleshing out a backstory for why they're doing what they do

I'LL LET YOU IN ON SOMETHING THOUGH, I had a brief headcanon in which I thought cosmo might have been a creation of glitchmaster to assist in finally taking over dreamside, as an extension of her to some degree, but ultimately branching out into their own chaotic force that she still has to control I don't think that theory holds up well to me anymore, but there's one idea!

that aside, I feel like cosmo already had their own plans against dreamside, wanting to experiment but needing subjects proper in order to do it, & partnering with glitchmaster seemed like a good idea in - not only having her power at their side, but saving their skin from any harm if she succeeds in her singlehanded takeover

plus, it's clear they have a partnership going, & whether that holds up in the end or not, cosmo's assured that the jackpot will be split evenly between them & that they'll have everything that they wanted in the end of their deal

TDLR ; I think they just want to murder & pillage a little bit & partnering with glitchmaster seems like a good way to start all that BUT it's also been a few years since I read the comic in full so my ideas may change again in the future

I KIND OF HOPE IT'S SOMETHING HAVING TO DO W/ THEIR PERSONAL GAIN if it's brought up at all, but not knowing cosmo's motivation at all also provides room for interpretation, which I especially enjoy!
