MIDTERM RECAP
Using animate is inconvenient >:(
struggling to do the STUDYING part
time
should start putting more thought into the steps and process before just diving in
Pumping out more than i expected, but still feels like a small amount :(
forgetting to both conscious estimate and record my work time
retroactive work logging >_>;
I am on track atleast 👍
just realized what the point of having a dedicated art tag is after having to dig through my posts like a hungry mole
art posts are now tagged #cosmonart, & animations are tagged #cosmonimation ^_^;;; xoxoxoxo
Work Log no. 12
Work Period: April 26th
Est Work time: 1hr 20
Actual Work time: 1hr 4min(planned) + 2hrs (unplanned)
AAUU i made alot of progress!!!!

Work Log No. 11
Work Period: April 25th Est Work time: 1hr Actual Work time: 45 min
I mixed up my workflow and did breakdowns first instead of extremes 💀 but i still think it looks good :)
i still dunno if im using timing charts the way they're intended to be used,, but using them did change the way i think about spacing and easing instead of just winging it, which is better than nothing!!!!!!!
Work Log No. 10!!
UEHEE! there are technically two work periods but i forgot to save documentation for that one :( Work Period: April 20th Est work time: 1hr Actual work time: 42min
this was spent finishing my keys but i forgot to save a gif for it D:
Work Period: April 21st Est Work time: 1hrs Actual Work time: 1.25 hrs
So technically this was supposed to be for last week as my "session 5" and its currently meant to be "session 6", but i thought that this prompt specifically would really be worth spending extra time on. this doesnt really affect my schedule anyways because my 6th session is meant to be freechoice anyways! i finished keys and moved on to breakdowns. not exactly sure im doing this process correctly but it doesnt look bad and that is the goal 💪 the stretch he does before picking up the box is a lil rough but im still workin on it >_>; i think the stumble at the end looks good tho :D
Work Log No. 9
i remembered to time myself 🤯
Work Period: April 12th
Est Work time: 2hrs Actual Work time: 1.5 Hours
Initially it was meant to be 2 hrs straight but I was at work during this session so it was instead 1.5 hrs working on and off.
I decided to play with perspective again so I just used procreate to make a simple 2 point grid :)
Figuring out how to use the grid well was a bit of a struggle, but im wrapping up on boarding so i can start actually animating next time.
Work Log No. 6 ⟡
Work Period: February 23rd
Estimated Work Time: 3 Hrs Real Work Time: ~2-3 Hrs
Unfortunately I forgot to record my times this time D:
Working on this project has had me thinking about the inconvenience of only being able to use the school computers. There will be times where I want to work on my project, but cannot due to whatever reason there may be for not being able to go sit down in the labs on campus. While I had considered using my iPad to work again, at least partially, I decided against it. The entire point of this project was to refine my skills in using Adobe Animate specifically. While my iPad or laptop would make getting work done easier and more efficient, I feel like that convenience would lead to me forgetting to use Animate all together.
This time I really wanted to work on a character, so I decided to do an expression change from happy to sad. I may have put a little too much thought into the set up and body language, but I got excited about thinking about character acting........
Finishing this is a problem for me in my next work session! >3>;
