Question for cosplayers: what type of shampoo should I use to wash my wigs? I haven’t ever washed them and the one I’ve used the most is starting to wear a little bit.

Question for cosplayers: what type of shampoo should I use to wash my wigs? I haven’t ever washed them and the one I’ve used the most is starting to wear a little bit.
Contemplating maybe cosplaying Dr.Nazali Satrinava from the Arcana game for possible future (first ever) Con in April 2019.
Particularly am excited by the idea of attempting to make their Masquerade Mask (papier-mâché?) and, of course, assembling a similar style of dress.
But since I've never cosplayed ever before, I wanted to be conscientious of not culturally/ethnically appropriating and/or breaking any other cosplaying etiquette? Advice?
