I can’t begin to describe all the struggles that went through my head when I decided to put on spandex for the first time. As a plus size girl, there’s so much stigma and hate and more that’s thrown my way for wearing anything remotely form fitting. I wish that wasn’t the case, but it is. And over time, over the nearly three years I’ve been cosplaying Spider-Gwen, I’ve become better and stronger at letting that roll off my back. I also want to say a huge resounding thank you to @misslindsayxoxo who made my custom suit for me! This girl took such care with making sure I had something that fit me and that was beautiful, too - and that’s what happened, I felt strong and beautiful in my suit, and it gave me the strength and courage to go out onto the con floor so many times. It really wouldn’t have been possible without you, girl - thank you SO much! And to all my fellow webheads out there - cosplay it and rock it!
