With this pour-over method and the PuraVidaTurnings coffee maker, you can enjoy the full and smooth flavors of Costa Rican coffee. The medium-coarse grind makes for a balanced extraction that brings out the unique qualities of Costa Rican beans.
Ingredients: 2 tbsp Costa Rican coffee beans. 400ml hot water 200F or 93C. Pour-over coffee maker PuraVidaTurnings.
Instructions: First, get the water to the temperature you want. Grind the Costa Rican coffee beans to a medium-coarse level while the water is getting hot. The PuraVidaTurnings pour-over coffee maker needs a coffee filter. Put the filter on top of your coffee mug and turn it on. Put the coffee grounds into the filter. Once you're happy with the temperature of the water, pour a small amount about 50ml over the coffee grounds to cover them all. Give it 30 seconds to bloom. Slowly pour the rest of the hot water over the coffee grounds in a circle, making sure that they are evenly covered. Let the coffee drip into your mug. It should only take two to three minutes. Take out the pour-over coffee maker and enjoy your coffee made in the Costa Rican style!
