do u guys remember costello and henrietta i sure hope so bc they’ve been HELLA revamped, costello especially 👀 i’m talking a huge overhaul for the family lore
costello (age 27) is now a mad scientist with a flair for the transhumanist body horror, who prefers to live in the basement of the family record store so he may do his dark bidding on his experiments. when he’s not going all re-animator, he’s tending to his plants (he’s a succulent dad) and cultivating a rather avant-garde sense of music that he thinks no one else is smart enough to understand.
henrietta (age 30) essentially runs aforementioned record store on her own. born with inexplicable superhuman strength and having left behind a life of crime in a biker gang, she now prefers to live quietly as the store’s owner and delivery girl. she is a stoic woman of few words but she loves her little siblings immensely and drags her brother out with her on motorcycle rides so he remembers to get some fresh air once in a while.
the triplets — wren, dove, and lark (age 10) — are costello and henrietta’s half sisters from their father’s second marriage to a wealthy woman making money off of the new age medicine trend. they’re spoiled rotten and horribly nosy and always want to know what costello is doing. their father tends to drop them on henrietta’s lap to babysit at the shop when they’re not at their extremely expensive professional ballet lessons.
