Notes↠I disposed of Ruby. I cannot find Mallory. She has perished. Someone has murdered her. I must kill whoever has done this to her. I must make them perish in the most horrid of ways. I must make her killer suffer in their last moments of life, and for the rest of eternity. I must…I must rescue my sister, my huntress from the Underworld…I must win.

Status Update: Ayla Augusta

Kill Story: Marlee Whittaker Thoughts: Perhaps the most heartbreaking moment of the Games, and perhaps my life, was being faced with the task of killing Marlee. It was the only way for me to survive, and I didn't want her to be subjected to the horror that would most likely be the final battle. So I killed her as quickly and softly as I could, by shifting into a snake and sending deadly venom through her system so that she would die as painlessly as possible. I had no choice, but she was the one I didn't want to face out of all the tributes in the arena. Too heartbreaking. Hoping to see Leo in the final battle, but then again I don't know what I will do if I do see him. Only one of us can make it out.

Leonius Blacksmith, Arena Day 2, Status Update:

Bruised rib, healing bruises on torso, loss of sensation in left arm

When I woke up I knew immediately that something was wrong. During the night Gaby and I had been separated from the rest of the pack. I tried calling out to them and we tried walking around the wall that separated us to no use. I don't know if they left on purpose or by force, and definitely not whether they still count us as allies. Facing the dread of another day we walked on for the rest of it until we decided to set camp. I know that I need to eat something solid other than vines, but there is simply nothing to be found. I actually licked a wall to get some water. How mortifying isn't that? On top of that I have these nagging thoughts in the back of my head that every second I waste, I am breaking my promise to Ayla. I got to do something about that, and preferably sooner than later. But first I need to find Gaby and I something to eat. I wonder how she'll react when I tell her my intention of searching through the maze for someone we might never find. The only thing I know for sure is that she will react in some way or another. I can't wait to find out...

Injuries↠Lacerations on neck (fading), minor scrapes and bruises (scarring over and healing), puncture wound on side (stitched and disinfected), severed leg (cauterized, replaced by wonderfully whittled wood that is bound by thick, strong vines), cut on upper arm (disinfected and stitched), scratches on face, neck, and arms (disinfected), infection in wounds that were open (killed with rubbing alcohol)

Notes↠Upon escaping from the cabin which threatened to close in on Mallory and me, we immediately decided to go hunting, using the top of the maze walls as our mode of transportation. But, as a result of the air being so very thin that high up, we were forced to retreat to the ground after about fifteen minutes of trekking. Soon, we located a new competitor: Rowan Archer. After successfully disposing of her in a fierce battle, Mallory and I disinfected our wounds, and sought a new campsite.

In the arena with Nick - Day 2

Where: North-East ish What: A single axe, the minotaurs head, 2 severed horns and some meat. (All in a vine backpack) Who: Zale and Ruby. Injuries: Bloody fists.

Notes We were awoken to quite the surprise today. Gaby and Leo had both been separated by a maze wall that seemingly appeared over night. After calming myself down, and formulating a plan with Zale and Ruby, we set off. Zale used his water powers to traverse us across part of the arena quickly. After getting down from the wall, and walking some more, we came across a beast. Half man, half bull. The minotaur. After beheading the beast and recovering its body, we were rewarded with Ariadnes thread, which will prove very crucial in the following days. We then rested up for a little bit, ate some meat, I severed the horns from the head, and attached it to my pack, then we carried on moving. Using the thread to help navigate the arena.

Status Update: Ayla Augusta

Solo Para: Mirages/This is Not What I Paid For Thoughts: I was led away and inevitably trapped by an empousa, an evil creature designed to either kill me or hurt me as much as possible. She and her two sisters hit me with everything they had, but in the end I made it out alive, though not unscathed. Also, I discovered my power gets much stronger when I'm angry, which is an interesting development. I'm never angry.

Solo Para: One Thing On Top of the Other Thoughts: After napping, I winded through the maze a little more before coming upon a clearing filled with edible lotus flowers, clean drinking water, screens showing the other tributes, and books on fighting strategies. I received another sponsor gift today, this one warning me against eating the flowers and containing a pot of delicious beef stew. I rehydrated and ate, regaining my energy from the morning, and watched the other tributes on the screen, paying close attention to what everyone else was doing. After which I read through the books and settled down in the hammock for some well-earned rest. 

Overall Thoughts: I must admit I'm feeling guilty for not thinking about meeting up with Leo. As much as I want to and as much as it pains me to not be with him right now, it just seems impossible to be able to find him in this labyrinth. Plus, I don't doubt that the walls will move again, finding us even further apart than we are. I'm glad he's with someone else- it's probably safer that way- though I've never met his district partner and don't know if I can trust her with Leo. Other than my father, I've never cared this much about anyone. I watched him the most on the screens tonight. I miss him.

Notes↠After a successful bloodbath in which I disposed of two worthless competitors and acquired a few items, Mallory and I headed into the maze, preparing to traverse it before we were attacked by the horrid Arlene Reynold. She was quite vicious, and although we disposed of her in the end, we both sustained a few grave injuries. After dressing these wounds, and once I learned how to walk with my new prosthetic quite well, Mallory and I set out to find shelter. We answered a quite simple riddle proposed by a sphinx, and sought refuge within a small cabin, which had warmth, an abundant feast, and beds to offer. Tomorrow, we shall hope to shed more blood.

Leonius Blacksmith, Arena Day 1, Status Update:

From the obstacle course: Bruised rib, scabs after burns, healing bruises on torso, loss of sensation in left arm.

I have never been this hungry in my life, and this is only after a day. It annoys me that I didn't get anything else during the bloodbath but my sword, but on the other hand it is actually one I made myself. I would die within days without it, so I consider myself lucky. I'm not sure of how well the alliance is going. I mean we all get along and stuff, but we are not as experienced as Careers usually are. It is safe to stick to the group for now, but if we split up I have to track down Ayla. I promised after all, and maybe I wouldn't be this distraced if I know how she's doing and could protect her.  If so the problem is Gaby. I just don't have it in me to leave her, but what am I supposed to do? Before finally falling asleep I talked some with Nick. He's really likable, but I'm concerned for him. To me he sounds almost schitzophrenic, something that can't be good. What if he suddenly snaps?
