important announcement 

hello, my darlings ! i wanted to address something because we’ve received a few messages already and i don’t want to flood the main with messages all saying the same thing. i would like to start off by saying: no one is in trouble. in the world of roleplay, no admin team is going to be able to make everyone happy all the time and we get it. so, let us begin:

i know that there are people feeling left out and intimidated by the size of the group. to give a little background on bunny and myself, we both gravitate towards smaller groups to begin with. when bunny created this group she honestly did not plan on this many people applying. we are so awestruck and grateful for all the love this group has received since opening two days ago. it is definitely a lot and we’re frazzled ourselves but everyone has been increasingly wonderful. we would like to remind everyone that this group has people from the EST, GMT, GMT +1, GMT +2, GMT +3, GMT +8, GMT +12, PST, CST, MST, and BRT. that is eleven different time zones that we are trying to coordinate around. we are very sorry to anyone who is currently feeling left out but please understand that it is no easy task.

as a reminder to members, please be sure to go through the blogroll and see that you are following all of our members. the most important tags at the moment right now are the cotton.intro and cotton.follow tags so that we can make sure we are including everyone. i’ve already seen such amazing connections between members and i can’t wait to start our ooc chat so that i can get to know you all so much better.

we’d also like everyone to be cognizant of the fact that tumblr has been acting wonky all day eating messages, asks and just doing all sorts of weird things. i also encourage those who are concerned to message the main off anonymous. it’s really upsetting to see all these messages but being unsure of how to proceed when we haven’t even really started yet. it is hard to address problems when you don’t know they’re there or you can’t see it in its entirety. we’re working really, really hard for you, like, it is not a joke when bunny says she didn’t sleep the other night because she’s been so focused on getting everything ready for opening. we truly and honestly from the bottom of our hearts want to make this a group where everyone can find their place. 

please like this once you read it and i hope this addresses the concerns some have been bringing up. i hope we can all move forward together and have a wonderful first day of interactions in 10ish hours or so!

COTTONHQ IS NOW CLOSED

so based on the title of this post, you probably would be able to catch on with the agenda of where this post will be heading. lisse and i would first like to apologize to each and every member for the sudden notice and how our decision may have happened out of nowhere to some members. i honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to explaining why we have decided to close COTTONHQ, and i don’t really want to go into details, but to summarize things -- lisse and i have been struggling behind closed doors in keeping this place up and running with our constant eagerness in pleasing people and making everyone comfortable. we have grown too lenient, which has come to the point where we allowed too many things to slide past us. this, unfortunately, created an environment that strayed far from what we hoped cotton would be. please do understand that this decision was awfully hard to make, and it still breaks our heart thinking about it.

to end this post on a much lighter and happier note, we would like to thank you for applying and we hope, despite it all, you enjoyed your time here while it lasted. thank you for giving COTTONHQ a chance and giving us the honor of knowing your character. again, we are terribly sorry for this short notice, and if we have ever hurt or angered anyone. we hope you understand our decision and forgive us.
