Twin Cities Couchfest 2013

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Twin Cities Couchfest in the state of Minnesota. The Twin Cities refer to the cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, two historically significant cities at the top of the Mississippi river. As a product manager at Couchsurfing, I arrived at the event hoping to learn from members about how the website and mobile apps can better support Couchfests and Invasions.

I had an unbelievable time. I met amazing people, learned about the history of the Twin Cities and had my first taste of both cheese curds and Whitecastle! I returned home even more inspired to keep making Couchsurfing better.
