Saturday: start to feel like I'm coming down with something. Take a home COVID test, it's negative.

Sunday: definitely got Something. Go to the clinic, get tested for strep and COVID. Both negative. But! They tell me that I came in so soon after symptoms started, I might be getting false negatives. Also, I ask about home tests and am told they're pretty reliable.

Monday evening: take another home test. Set a timer for 10 minutes but don't need it as I watch the positive test result develop before my very eyes. Report my positive home test results to the CDC.

I strive to be him. He's so silly, he has an unsettling aura. I am him and he is me. He's my babygirl, he's my wife. I would end him, he's done nothing wrong in my eyes. He's so me coded, I hope he dies.
