Season 5 Must Watch and Could Skip
For Anon, now that’s we’ve discussed Season 4, let’s move on to Season 5! @omgcrazypenguinkid has already started us on Season 5. According to their post on the Season 4 thread, they say the “Must Watch” episodes are Bob, Carol, Nick & Schmidt; D-Day; Sam, Again; Jeff Day; Helmet; Bachelor’s Party/A Chill Day In; and Landing Gear. And that the “Could Skip” are 300 Feet, the rest of the episodes without Zooey, Goosebumps Walkaway, and Return to Sender.
My opinions are a little different. I would say Must Watch:
Jury Duty (I think this one is extremely underrated. There are lots of great one-liners and I love the Nick/Cece bickering)
The Apartment (Also underrated in my opinion, I found Winston’s partner Dunston and the gang’s interactions with him to be absolutely hysterical)
Helmet (Nick and Jess, duh)
Road Trip/A Chill Day In (ACDI is one of the absolute funniest episodes of the series)
Landing Gear (extremely essential)
Everything from No Girl to Heatwave. (I honestly just don’t think any of these episodes are that great. I suppose someone might want to see the first one with Reagan just so they understand who she is and why she’s there, but ultimately these could all be skipped. The Decision is probably the best one of all of them)
300 Feet (Super frustrating episode, showcases the worst side of Jess)
Dress (Schmidt and Jess are a fun dynamic but ultimately kind of a forgettable episode)
