1) No, we didn’t date. Technically he wasn’t an ex-boyfriend. But he was an ex-something, an ex-maybe. An ex-almost.
2) She only attracted those who could not love her back. With so much magic built up inside, she had to let it go, so others could take what they needed. To some, a selfless act, to her? narcissistic.
