As soon as she read the first several sentences, Mei-Rin blushed deeply. Had someone been spying on them? Or was it sheer coincidence? And if it was a coincidence - then why had this story appeared on her table while she had been gone?

Or maybe was it written by Markus himself...?

Nevertheless, she decided to read on - and the more she read, the more embarrassed she felt. If it had been written by someone else, she could not stand the thought they had imagined her in such a situation with Markus. If it had been written by Markus - that he had such fantasies about the two of them...

Maybe she should ask him about that - and she decided to do it, as gently as possible - whenever she had a chance.

They were just getting back from work together when Mei-Rin could notice Markus take a different path than usually. And it would not make her curious if not for the fact they soon entered a forest, and he parked the car at some point.

Turning to glance at him, she bit her bottom lip, then finally asked, “What... what happened? Is something wrong?”

They had just returned from their date, and Mei-Rin decided to stay over the night... but she had not thought that it would end up like that. Not that she was complaining, though.

“Of course I do, Master,” she answered a bit teasingly, letting out a small chuckle, but after all, he was still her boss. “I could not belong to anyone else.”

“Ma- Markus,” she whispered, feeling the other’s lips on her own. No, it did not mean she was not enjoying it... however, she could not help but feel pretty nervous. He was her boss, and they were in his office. Anyone could walk in on them like that.

“Should we not wait until we’re finished with our work?” she murmured against his lips, so tempted to return the kiss.

Mei-Rin was a well-known person in this society. Her father was pretty proud of her and they met at his work place often, especially when she went to school or returned from it.

It was the first time he had decided to take her to a party like this. Maybe a ball would be a better way to call it. During this event, he was supposed to talk to his boss, and he did not want to look strange, all alone, surrounded by all of the couples. His daughter’s mother was long since dead, and he had never remarried, so he could only ask Mei-Rin to accompany him.

Now, standing with a glass of juice in her hand, she looked around, pretty intimidated. Yes, she knew a part of those people, but these surroundings made them look like strangers. Besides, they were all friends, and seemed to be forming little groups - her father soon joined one and she was left alone, trying to calm down and pretend she had fun.
