For once in my life, I chose not to be the madwoman who drew lace by hand. I still tried to, but wasn't satisfied. So I tried to pick an appropriate brush. At least for the white one.

WIP of Strahd and Victor!! It's been a long time since I drew anything, I just randomly decided to lock in today.
Sometimes I feel so alone, watching Curse of Strahdanya and seeing the players swoon whenever the Countess gets “flirty”. All I can feel is disgust and uncomfortable, because I just can’t fawn over a beautiful face knowing the horrific acts she has done. Even something as innocent as hand-holding makes my upper-lip curl.
I wanted to smack her hand out of Clayton’s so bad, you don’t even know.
I know that would probably make it worse, because people in power tend to react badly to not getting their way. That’s largely what bothers me the most, I think. The play of power dynamics and the silent, looming threat of violence if you reject her touches.
At least Sarnax and Shepard are on my side. (As of episode 7, who knows what happens later on)

I have had no inspiration lately so what the heck. Let’s genderbend Strahd. Mostly an excuse to stress test my new ink. It’s Noodler’s Gold and Limonite. I was hoping for a more bloody red-brown but I’m pleased enough. It’s also very waterproof, so I’ll use it with plenty of watercolors in the future.
I did watercolor over it, mostly with various reds and greys, but forgot to photograph that part. Whoops.
To fans of our heroes in Barovia I am very sorry. For fans of Strahd I have good news
Strahd: Ok, yes, I may be morally corrupt. But I’m also incredibly beautiful and I think that makes up for it, honestly.
