What's your favorite aspect of Okami? (Also, if you've played Okamiden, what do you think it did and/or didn't do well?)

a favorite aspect in Okami?? impossible. if I had to choose, I love how a lot of Okami is based around old Japanese folklore, and how colorful and beautiful the characters are made. (and the music.. and all the beautiful areas... and... and oh gosh there's too much to like in that game. seriously.)

as for Okamiden. I think it's pretty good for a DS game. The ending made me cry, and I love the whole multiple partner thing. What I didn't like was how it sorta fucked over the original game's story (especially with Shiranui). It also copied a lot of aspects from the original game, methinks.

She ducked her head into her fur collar. Just a week ago, the city had started to recover from the snow storm and it came as a relief to see some sort of path again, without it she would have had little idea where to put her feet.  To her it was an oddly comforting presence amid all the riotous color and lights of the market district. Not like she had any notion of where she was going, following the road winding away like an unspooled ribbon- Directly into someone...

"I-I'm terribly sorry… I should have been looking where-" Sera froze because of what she saw, or thought she saw, unintentionally keeping a close proximity to the woman she had promptly collided with. She stood there, dumbfounded, her short height putting her almost at eye level to the emblem she had seen time and time again on another.  The sight of it might have been mundane to anyone else, but to her it was a sort of revelation. "…Are- Are you a member of the Black Order?" The question came out automatically and she bit her lip, closing her eyes waiting to be reprimanded. "I'm sorry! That's none of my business… Please forgive me! You- You don't have to answer that..."
