“ carlisle. ” he’d disappeared around the corner, but she knows she’d seen him. the patriarch of her found family. someone who accepted her as she was. with their superior hearing, she hoped he’d heard her, but she followed anyway. she wasn’t a tracker, she wasn’t james, but if she knew carlisle well enough, she knew where he would be headed. the infirmary.

memories threatened to be exposed with each waking moment within the castle walls, itching to come out. already growing suspicious at knowing the area well, and that had been before getting a hand on a guided map. muscle memory still in place despite the false life which had been weaved within the mind of the young witch woman. painting smiling ; waving even, as though they had discovered her in another lifetime. she brushed it off and depicted it as another strange occurrence since appearing away from home. then again, this place felt as much like home as the other place if not more so. the familiarity attached to it surrounded her like a warm blanket in front of a fireplace. it had caused her to travel outside of the walls, onto the grounds, and into territories where somehow she knew people were less likely to disturb.
“ you know, that tree has a nasty habit of hurting people. ” glancing up from a worn out book, a hint of a smile on her features. sitting on a rock several ways from the infamously known whomping willow already having witnessed it’s severity. closing the book, she placed it on her lap while squinting as the sun hit her face. face contorted momentarily as a burst of confusion appeared, “ so does the forest, if that happened to peak your interest as well. ” not sure how she knew this information, perhaps she read it somewhere ?? that was the only logical explanation.

a dark blue eyebrow arches as violet eyes watch the discrete flick of a wand at the young mans side. she knows magic when she sees it. there’s an instant draw towards this young man’s chaos as she smirks to herself before standing beside him, the wand in between them. “ that’s not how this game is played, you know. i’m pretty sure cheating, even with magic, is against the rules. ”
