👏🏾 #MosquitoClaps #CourseWorkComplete In my previous life I was the Managing Editor for The New Ghanaian 🗞 right out of college; the experience taught me celebrate small wins and monthly milestones. Each month’s edition & getting to print (I eventually built one of Ghana’s 🇬🇭 first online platforms for newspapers) for 50+ states in the US was truly an engaging challenge. 😍 Today I got to see in print, for the first time, the Wits Business School Masters in Management in the field of Innovation Studies brochure with me and my course mate Lehlo 🤓. We were unexpectedly asked to smile and pose for the camera 📸 as we were working on Prof. Ojah’s Financing Innovation assignment. We are successfully done with our course work for the program ✨. It’s been an eventful journey and there is still my research thesis to go, but I’m thankful🙏🏾. It took a lot of faith, a mind-shift to go back to school full-time & bravery to commit my continued engagement with higher education in an African university (betting on decolonized curriculum✊🏾) in JoBurg 🇿🇦. Gratefully, I have no regrets, I’m equipped with so many new lessons & tools to impact our world 🌍 to make it better for the next generation. To small & big wins. Keep pushing! We got this 🥂 🇿🇦 #WBS #Witsie #Mastery #GamorLegacy (at Wits - University of the Witwatersrand) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpAHoq8AQOz/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1nbi2haq8c5jz
