really enjoying this new feature of tumblr where advertising audio pops out of nowhere, scaring the shit out of me. Love that I can’t find the source of the audio either, great stuff. Keeps me on my toes. And the audio never runs out, because it’s presumably attached to a video, so it just keeps repeating and repeating. Also, if I want to turn the audio off I have to mute my laptop all together (listening to music? oh well. Woops!) or refresh the page, even though I’m already hours deep in my dash. Really great innovative advertising happening at tumblr dot com.

Under the cut is a lot of rambling and the questionnaire from the other day haha

So all of these characters (from the questionnaire thing) are part of a story I’ve been developing for around 2-ish years (I only really invested a lot of time and thought in it this past year tbh). Eventually, as in a looong long time from now, I’d like to make it an animated series. I’ve nicknamed it “Crown,” coming from the saying “A crown is a heavy burden.” 

It takes place in a relatively new kingdom (only like, 3 generations old) that’s wedged between two other kingdoms who have been at war on and off for approx 200 years. I’ve nicknamed the newer kingdom Yellow, and the other two Red and Blue. I am shit at names.

The story begins with Felix, the prince of Yellow, being assigned a personal group of guards: Cana, Natal, and Leo. These 4 are the main characters. Cana and Felix are technically the MAIN main characters but ya know. They all get into wacky hijinks that world/character build, which includes meeting other characters that hang around the palace. One of these is the Ambassador from the Blue Kingdom. His name is Mattias.

Mattias is a charming man in early 30s, and an excellent politician. He befriends Felix, and becomes somewhat of a mentor figure to him. However his intentions aren’t all that….good.

Red and Blue are once again on the brink of war, and both kingdoms are vying for control over Yellow. Mattias came to Yellow as an emissary of peace and respect, but is actually under direct orders from the Emperor of Blue to seize political control of Yellow from the inside. And he will do anything to achieve that goal. Even if that means killing. 

That’s a verrrrryyyyyy general idea of the plot and Mattias. And just cuz, here’s the questionnaire again!

I hope this kinda gives you an idea???? Basically: Mattias is the most likely to kill people because of his “if it gets me what I want/need” mentality and also he does try to kill someone like twice
