Katakuri x Fem Reader: Yellow Candle(You really mean it)
Katakuri watched as you were approaching. You had a pretty pink box in your hand you would often share your sweets with him. Months passed as Katakuri and you became closer. He often watched your every movement with the sweet laughter that would catch the attention of others when you would laugh. Katakuri felt insecure no one as sweet as you would fall for someone as scary as he was.
“kata! “ you called out the sweet smile on your face.
“Hey _______.” Katakuri looked down at the box.
“I brought us some treats. Shall we enjoy them in peace?” You softly said as you went to the bakery for something a bit more special mind. It was being held in the container.
“Of course,” You followed him to his merienda. The tea seemed to be already prepared by him.
Both of you take a seat your heart was racing a bit placing the pink box on the table. Fiddling with your thumbs a bit. “So I got you something extra. I hope you don't mind.”
Katakuri cocks his brow just a bit. “Did they come out with a new flavor?” he asked you. Reaching for the box as he opened the box on the top layer on top of the other was a heart-shaped doughnut. He closed the box quickly, his tint of pink on his cheeks was covered by a light ragged scarf. “So this doughnut is for you?” he asked.
“It’s for you“ You were looking down your face feeling hot. “I want to get it for you cause I thought it was the easiest way to show you that I’ve fallen for you,” you said pretty fast then covered your face.
Taken aback by your words he opened the box once more seeing the heart shape pink frosted doughnut. Picking it up “here.” he ripped the doughnut in half handing you a piece. “We each give a piece of our hearts to one another. When we are together we can make it whole.”
“Kata…” Your face felt hot to the touch accepting the other piece of the doughnut. “You really mean it?”
“Of course I wouldn’t ever lie to you ______. I’m just glad to know you feel the same way I do,” he said. His hand extending out to you bringing you to sit on his lap. His arm tucked around your waist.
“You sure know-how make a girl blush over here.” your cheeks still burning as bright as his hair color.
“It’s cute seeing you like this.” He did one deep chuckle.
Turning your body a little towards him as you were facing him. Your finger gently pushing the scarf down exposing his mouth seeing the tint of pink dust on his cheeks. Bringing your piece of the doughnut to his mouth “You take the first bite.”
