It had been a while since Aviva had run into Nova, but she didn't easily forget the person who had made such a positive first impression back when they had met at the laundromat. She still looked back fondly on how understanding Nova had been when she had made a complete fool of herself on the clock, and a occasionally their similar journeys that had independently gotten the pair to Cardinal Hill came to Aviva's mind. It was surprising yet comforting in a strange way, the fact that Aviva wasn't alone or unique in terms of her arrival to the small town. She had so greatly feared being a complete outsider in Cardinal Hill, but she'd made more friends and lovely connections quicker than expected; a lot of them, like with Nova, were still yet to be developed and established more than on a surface level, but Aviva was optimistic - and that was a feeling that she hadn't felt in some time.
So of course, Aviva was excited to cross paths with Nova at the carnival. The carnival was already a much needed and easily accepted distraction for Aviva, so to see a friendly face only made it all the better. "How're you doing?" She asked, that southern twang stronger in her voice as it often was in times of excitement. "You enjoying the carnival? It's all so overwhelming, so bright, I don't even know where to start with it. I've honestly just been roaming around aimlessly for the most part," she laughed at herself. "You gone on any of the rides or played any of the games yet?" She then asked.
