my lounge has turned into a fucking obstacle course because my parents decided on thursday that they wanted to redecorate so there are ladders and paint cans and books and sofas thrown all around the bloody place - the effort it took to come and get my laptop was more exercise than i normally do in a week
We haven't had any new Ellie Goulding for a long time, so my heart skipped a beat when I saw this late last night. The talented British songstress covered The Weeknd's High For This, lending her crystal clear, brilliant vocals to the jam. This is great stuff. Ellie is very versatile. I can't begin to say how glad I am that she's receiving so much deserved recognition on this side of the pond now. She always seems so bright and optimistic too. Definitely a great role model.
