I’ve been thinking about what the heckie I should do for your birthday for like.. a month ahaha I wanted to sing Pop Music 101 by Marianas Trench but there aren’t any karaokes for it OTL

So I kinda just sat idly for the next 3 weeks thinking what the frick should I sing. Viva Happy??? Poker Face??? And then on Sunday I was like fRICK I BARELY HAVE A WEEK LEFT I NEED TO DO SOMETHING NOW

Anyway despite me having some handle on the Japanese lyrics I wasn’t going to sing this in Japanese no oh my god I can’t learn the rest of those lyrics in a week so I decided to sing Juby and Rachie’s English lyrics despite not having listened to their cover all that much bUT I WAS DESPERATE

Rebeca was with me the whole time while I was in a panic over what to do and she said her sister and her were actually learning the lyrics too and offered to do my backings (Or I jokingly asked her and she did it? I forgot how that part went).

I shouldn’t have made them backings though because her sister sounds so cute and Rebeca sounds so h to what the fr ick Rebe ca why do y ou so und so ho t in y our back ings

So yeah I was thinking of making up rap lyrics partly because you made up translyrics for A and I wanted to put in my original creativity in my cover too!!! But I soon figured out that I cannot whip out original lyrics out of my butt in like 3 days but I still wanted to rap so I went with nqrse’s rap--

I don’t know if that was a good idea or not because I already told myself I wasn’t going to rap in Japanese again I’m not a rapper and I was just squinting at his raps like tHESE ARE TOO FAST HOW AM I GOING TO DO THIS HE IS TOO GOOD

But I did it!!! And I’m a little proud of my achievements but oh my god why did I do this to myself I shouldn’t rap in Japanese it brings me so much pAIN

Anyway I tried a lot of things mixing-wise and all.... I didn’t know what I was doing it half the time... I tried autotune... it sorta worked(???)... I awkwardly breathed into the mic at one point... I kept showing my recordings to Rebeca like I MES SED  U p but she was really just my moral support the whole time (so I wouldn’t be crying on twitter most of the time--) so thANK YOU!!! FOR LISTENING TO MY COMPLAINTS AND ME NITPICKING AT THIS COVER TO NO END

Kimmie: /one week until Random-sama's birthday/ "Crap I'm not going to make it."

So, I'm posting a short 2 minute preview so at least I wouldn't come empty-handed? As in, here is the unmixed, lead vocal only and more awful than usual version featuring songs that doesn't match my voice and showcases my lack of vocal control in addition to my inability to pronounce words even though English is my first language
