it’s been a while since I’ve opened this account and the reason why was mostly because I’ve been hard core ‘adulting’ lol
I’ve finally found the time to sit down and look at this blog since I’ve been staying home most days now because of the virus.
I’m done my undergrad and what took most of time (before self-isolating at home) were working part-time, volunteering and doing private tutoring.
A lot of things happened during the time I was away.
~my dog passed away (still very much hurts my heart)
~family adopted a new dog.
~finally approved for grad (ceremony this June!)
~passed DELF exam
~finished application for teaching certificate and waiting for results
(going back to school)
~etc...
I never thought I’d say this but I kinda miss school now. If things go as planned and I get accepted for the program this September, I’m pretty sure I’d be taking those words back lol.
2020 has been super crazy. I planned a grad trip for this spring but had to cancel everything because of this whole chaotic situation. I was really disappointed at first but I realized I needed to slow down. I thought that I could use this time to reflect on more important things like relationships, be grateful for the things that I’m able to still have like food and other basic necessities, a job, a healthy body. Not everyone is fortunate enough to still get a hold of these things. Even in this time, I’m still blessed.
I hope everyone is safe and healthy! Stay at home as much as you can and take this time to maybe learn something new - maybe a new language or a new skill that you can use when things get better in the world, I know it will. Maybe not tomorrow, or next week, but it will. Let’s hang in there guys :)
