weekend girls trip 👼
i havent felt jittery for a tattoo in a long time, and it’s not that it’s going to hurt (elbow), but rather the subject. all of my tattoos have emotional, heartfelt meanings for me! not one that doesn’t mean, solely, “love.”
but today is a blackberry bush branch and a few teeth to represent the memories of going to my great grandmother’s house (paternal) and running outside with my little brother to push our arms into the rows of blackberry bushes. we’d eat and scream and the run through the empty corn fields, hilly and grey with death, behind the toolshed, until our legs couldn’t run anymore. the thought is making my stomach clench, but not in a bad way
