Last year at the #javelinajundred was a HOT ass day! Today was perfect....for this of us who live in the desert. We pounded through ice cooling down runners at the #coyoteaidstation today and I thoroughly enjoyed serving my fellow runners immensely. Today was extremely rewarding and I am so happy I could help these incredible people achieve their goal of finishing. There were some high times and a few low times. I gave out a lot of #hugs today and made a gentleman cry because he really needed that. That will be my deepest memory of the entire event. True raw emotion. The moon over the desert before the crowds arrive for the #javelinajundred at #mcdowellmountainregionalpark ! I’m so excited to be a part of the volunteering at this stellar running event.
