just listed this coyote tail keychain in my etsy shop!
coyote party! they were still mostly frozen so the pictures don’t show them off super well, but there’s some nice lookin ones. H is probably my favorite, i think that’s the one i’m going to keep for myself!
these pups will keep me busy for a while!
got another one of the yotes all fleshed and salted this morning. this is one of two that had arrived with bad slipping on the face; this guy’s whole face was entirely bald by the time i was done skinning it! it was pretty disappointing to see since they’re both really pretty, but the seller refunded me for them thankfully so it’s no big deal.
i was tempted to fully prep him for taxidermy anyway since i know someone who makes amazing rogue mounts out of slipped pelts, but it just would have been too much extra work for a pelt i’d have to sell cheap. so i decided to part him out instead, which allows me to have some more affordable items in the shop! the paws and tail will be made into keychains :-)
