Labeled as "intensely addicting and crafted with a lot of love", Dave The Diver came out of early access 6/28, and the audience is head over heels for this unique RPG. This game features ocean exploration by day and running your very own sushi restaurant at night.
I've yet to play it, but the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam have persuaded me to pick it up next paycheck.

Here's a game i backed on Kickstarter back in 2.2021, Coral Island. The Stairway devs have been nothing but amazing with the character cast of this game. NPCs with varied backgrounds, cultures, and design, i cannot wait for the release. The game includes coral reef restoration, farming, crafting, friendship, combat, mining, fishing, and of course house customization!
The release date was announced as 10.11.2022, i would keep an eye out if you are a Stardew Valley/Harvest Moon/Farm sim fan

An adorable & spooky hidden gem in the first-person photography genre, Penko Park will delight you with it's quirky inhabitants both hiding from and vying for your attention. This game was gifted to me by a dear friend, but the price tag of 12.99 seems worth it for the fun I've experienced in this game so far.

Not entirely sure Stray is a "cozy" game, but since it is about exploring as a cat in a cyberpunk city, i think perhaps it qualifies. Stray is an indie game about adventure and exploration. You will experience the environment as a cat and interact with it in playful ways. Along the way you will befriend a drone named B-12, who will join you in the neon-lit alleys of this unique game. Set to release 7.19.2022.

Chucklefish is one of my favorite dev teams of all time. They are a zero-crunch studio, meaning development can take longer, but they expect to deliver quality games while treating their devs with dignity and proper work/life balance.
They've gifted us with so many amazing games, including Eastward, Risk of Rain, and one of my all time favorites, Starbound.
They're currently developing Witchbook, an immersive life sim about you, a witch-in-training on the road to graduation.
Taking place in a charming seaside town, this game features spellcasting, friendship, and even a bit of romance.
