Hey! So, I'm thinking about signing in as an artist, but I don't think I fully got how the artist schedule works? We make our claims on Sept 9-11 and then have up to November 15 to finish our work?
Correct! You claim a work between Sept 9 and 11, then get into contact with your writer to get the full outline and chapter-by-chapter breakdown and have until Nov 15 to submit your finished work. We currently have more authors than artists so we appreciate any new sign-ups!

If you sign up for a mini bang and your fic takes on a life of its own and ends up being a big bang is that okay? I don't want to commit to the big bang because I would feel overwhelmed.
If you are not sure what kind of word count you will reach, you can sign up for a big bang and still change to a mini bang afterwards. The opposite is more tricky, especially after claims, since we can't just double the workload for your artist and beta. But if you are ok with exceeding the mini bang work count requirement but still getting only one artwork, we can manage that for you.
Sign-ups have already closed, but if you want to change, just shoot us another ask off-anon!
Word Sprints Tonight!
One of the B.B. admins will be hosting word sprints for authors (both Big and Mini Bang) in the bb-writers channel of the @capri-discord this evening (US) every hour on the hour for 20 minutes at a time. Feel free to join us for a couple of hours of writing and camaraderie!
All online discord members will receive a mention in the B.B. writers channel five minutes before the top of the hour, with the first sprint starting at 8PM eastern US and the last beginning at 11PM.
Can’t join us tonight? We’ll do it again this weekend. :)

You can sign-up using this form to write either a Big Bang fic (25k minimum) or Mini Bang (10k) for a November 15th deadline.
