I love echoes across campaigns that show how much the players have changed.
C1 Ep63:
MARISHA The roots were very turgid. SAM Hmm. What a good word. MARISHA Someone taught that to me earlier. (read: Taliesin had whispered it earlier out of character) TALIESIN I feel like a terrible person, I think. It's just a great word, that's all.
Matt was not impressed.
Flashforward to campaign 4
C4 Ep 16:
MATT You have to speak the statue's language. Turgid!
In a lot of cases, the campaign is the version of a events I enjoy more, however, the animated version of the fight against Saunder to get Fenthras was way cooler.
In the show they were able to focus more on the growth for Vex as a character and center her in the battle rather than just being a game of figuring out weaknesses and whittling it down. It felt so much more satisfying.
