the entering castle torch scene is such a nice moment for julien's character (despite the accusations against julien) because so far we havent seen julien in a place where hes secure. respected. liked. hes only really been anxious or unwelcome or untrusted. but at castle torch, where he works and spends most of his life, hes smiling, laughing. here hes a respected general who may have possibly had sex with most of the people there but also like. this is his home and its so nice to see him in this setting

i love julien so much hes absolutely my favourite character in the campaign so far

I kept having such a visceral reaction to the idea of Vaelus touching, much less using, any of the druidic artifacts. no I don't think the woman bedecked from head to toe in "I miss Sylandri" regalia should be allowed to interact with the relics of the very people Sylandri had hunted down and tortured
