Having just finished episode 70, I bet the druid who cursed Raishan with her final breath was Keyleth’s mother. (I have no idea if the timeline actually works but it would be fantastic storywise, and give Keyleth even more of a reason to want to destroy Raishan...)

ALSO what the fuck is the truth about the arm crystals??? i think i remember caleb saying that the experiments were unsuccessful, but then we have this scourger woman with the same scars. she wasn’t in training while caleb was, presumably trained after him (if she knows who he is, and she’d also be pretty old for an assassin if she was trained before)

does it mean that ikithon figured something else out? did he succeed? or were the experiments something else entirely, something caleb doesn’t know the truth about??

i have so many questions about caleb’s shit. are all scourgers brought in from the zemni fields?? or did he just get lucky and encounter someone else who speaks zemnian? it sounds like astrid is definitely still a scourger??

also there’s definitely still something caleb hasn’t mentioned because...what we’ve heard is that he was one of three students, and they were at the academy for a year and then with ikithon for a year, before caleb had his breakdown. and that was all sixteen years ago.

but now we’ve met this rando scourger who knows the name bren and has heard things about him. one year of study over a decade ago doesn’t create infamy like that.
