Ingredients: 5 lbs fresh live crabs. 2 lbs small red potatoes, halved. 4 ears corn, shucked and halved. 2 lbs smoked sausage, sliced. 2 lemons, quartered. 1 onion, quartered. 4 cloves garlic, smashed. 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning. 2 bay leaves. 1 gallon water.
Instructions: Bring water to a boil in a big pot. Season the pot with Old Bay, bay leaves, onions, garlic, and lemons. Then add the sausage and potatoes. Let it cook for 10 minutes. Put the corn in the pot and cook for five more minutes. Last, add the crabs to the pot. It will take about 8 to 10 minutes for them to turn red. Take everything out of the pot and drain the extra water after it's done cooking. For a fun look, serve the crab boil on a big platter or right on top of newspapers that have been spread out on a table.
