A crafter’s guide to... Adorable Scorable
Hi crafters,
Seeing as we have expanded our Adorable Scorable range this year with a crafty array of beautiful patterns, I really wanted to take the time to talk you through the fantastic features of the cardstock and the different types of Adorable Scorable you can get, as well as the many techniques that we love using with the card here at HD towers.
Perfect cards and projects: the journey starts with Adorable Scorable!
All cards and projects start with a base, so every crafter needs the perfect cardstock to set you off on your journey to beautiful makes. As a crafter myself I can honestly say I have never found better than our Adorable Scorable cardstock!
Adorable Scorable’s name comes from how amazing it is to score - the card possesses bendy ink technology, ensuring the perfect score and fold every time with no cracking or feathering.
The 350gsm weight of the cardstock ensures a wonderfully strong and sturdy board, so you can rest assured that no matter what you make, each and every one of your projects will stand firm.
The cardstock is so good in fact, that we use it for all our Topper Sheets and coordinating printed and foiled cardstock in our Topper Sets, so you know you’re getting that amazing Adorable Scorable quality every time.
The Adorable Scoreboard: your ultimate craft essential to complement Adorable Scorable
To make your crafting even easier, our Adorable Scoreboard works perfectly alongside Adorable Scorable to create quick card blanks, more complex card shapes, boxes and other special projects.
The Scoreboard is made by crafters for crafters, jam-packed with features to ensure it’s the best it can possibly be, including increments as small as 1/8″ and 0.5cm, centre-point marking, indents on the top edge to ensure full page scoring and much more.

To meet all of your crafting needs, we have a wide range of different Adorable Scorable selections to ensure you can choose just what you need.
Most of our Adorable Scorable selections are A4, but we do have a great A3 colour block featuring a wide range of colours.
We have colour families, which include different tones of the same colour, as well as single colour packs so you can stock up on a particular shade.
We also have a great variety of mixed packs of Adorable Scorable, with pretty patterns like Marble, Tartan and Confetti, as well as stunning shades like Ombre and Colour Twist, which really give you the potential to get creative with your makes.
Tried and tested techniques
There are so many different techniques that can be used with our cardstock, so no matter what you fancy doing, Adorable Scorable has your back!
I love embossing and debossing the card, because it takes the detail so beautifully and creates such a stand-out effect.
Embossing also looks fab when it’s distressed, and it can give a completely different look to your cards - I love the vintage look myself! You could even use Gilding Wax on distressed Adorable Scorable to add a gorgeous metallic sheen, or heat emboss it with embossing powders and a heat tool for a wonderful dimensional look.
If you love your Diamond Sparkles glitters, you can even use this with your card for a super sparkly finish. I also love stamping the card with our For the Love of Stamps range to achieve unique looks - this works best on our Matt-tastic cardstock.
Matt-tastic - the latest innovation in Adorable Scorable
Matt-tastic Adorable Scorable features the same amazing properties of Adorable Scorable with the added bonus of a matt finish, which enables you to stamp, ink, distress and get messy with your cardstock!
The fabulous Matt-tastic finish is included on our Florabunda and Rose Gold Moments Card Collections, and there is also a dedicated Adorable Scorable Matt-tastic Selection including a range of colours which is incredibly popular!
So what’s next for Adorable Scorable?
Moving forward, we have lots of fab ideas in the pipeline for new selections of Adorable Scorable that we can bring you - it’s all very exciting and there’s no end to the possibilities!
