🦄 Why do you choose to have this relationship darker instead of fluffy?
The simple answer is because it's more interesting to me and this is a very self serving blog I do things for me and me alone. But to give a more interesting answer
This is one of those selfships I made while Regressed, and little me is. There's something wrong with that kid dfghjdhgjd. I prefer taboo topics and darker storylines and Horror when regressed, the younger the darker, who knows why I'm not in therapy it doesn't matter. The point is he wanted it to be Dark and Twisted, so that's how I wrote it.
It wasn't originally like that though, when Security Breach first came out and I became infatuated with Sun and made the S/I, despite it being a Cradle Ship the selfship was rather wholesome, in a controlling parent/willing victim sort of way. It wasn't until Ruin came out and we saw the aftermath in a Pizzaplex that I twisted the story to have my S/I die and make Sun more... Well just More. Push his controlling possessiveness to it's extreme.
I think Sun as a character is Woefully woobitized in fandom anyway, so I wanted to play with him, push his limits, put him under pressure, see what he does when in extreme duress, break and bend him. Ya know, for funsies. Because I love him.
I think it's an interesting path for his character arc to go anyway.
🛡️ Does your selfship fit the vibe of the canon content or is it very different?
If Scott Cawthon wasn't a coward with his Murdered Children game series, yeah I'd say this selfship fits the vibe of the series VERY well.
Actually, despite this selfship being Miles away from the Afton era, it's vibes are VERY based on my kin memories of being The Crying Child, I'm kind of just playing off the tone of his story for this really.
It does not however play with canon's Themes, mostly because I'm not sure FNaF HAS any themes. Despite choosing to stand here and watch all these games, I am still a FNaF hater and think the story is garbo nothingness. If there's a central theme to these games, I sure haven't seen it.
🎧 What song reminds you of your selfship?
I don't really have any for this one. I tend to have a pretty hard time finding music that hit the right amount of Creepy/Cute for most of my Agere based Self Inserts. I don't even have a good song just for Sun himself.
