We’re having a time.
Oh, yeah, I was gonna do some quick sewing projects--want to get those done before Craft Friday, so I can clear out that space, and because I don’t want to sew that day
I will very likely use that day to finally cut out--or even trace off--a complicated pattern that I have been procrastinating making for years just because I dislike cutting out the pattern tissue pieces.
The idea of sewing the complicated pattern? Pfft, just go step by step, it won't be a problem. The idea of cutting out the pattern tissue pieces for the first time? Uuuuuugghhhhh noooooooooo.
This is as far as I got for Craft Friday, as suggested by @dollsahoy
I printed my Minifee pants pattern at 75% to see if it would fit the SQ Lab 34cm body. Alas my eyeballed estimate was pretty off so first muslin is way too small. Just printed the next version at 82% and made some actual leg measurements for further adjusting.
I don't know if I'll get the next version sewn up tonight, I'm pooped.
For Craft Friday, I finally cut out the book skirt.

I want to do craft friday... but I'm starting to get sick. I'm tired from that and work. I thought about sewing, painting over a doll. I might still paint a little. As usual my ambitions appetite is way too big for my being. I might dabble in doll stuff tonight.
As part of an anti-capitalist protest against Black Friday I'm participating in Craft Friday where you work on projects that you already on the materials for instead of going out and tormenting retail workers. @dollsahoy

I wanted to attend Black Friday, but was far too poor for that. plus, I would've just shopped for myself, and I definitely have enough shit.
so instead, it will be CRAFT Friday, cause a majority of my gifts will be handmade gems this year. I'll eventually post them, but not for a while seeing as how some of those friends receiving gifts follow me. and NO ONE likes a ruined surprise. :]
