Third stop on the Mini Ho Chi Minh City Bar Hop: back to Pasteur Street Brewing Co. to have the mighty Cyclo Imperial Chocolate Stout (13% ABV) on tap. . I’ve had this before but not on tap. It’s a bit less full-bodied than I remember, but maybe cos it’s on tap. Second stop on the Mini Ho Chi Minh City Bar Hop: . Heart Of Darkness brewery (@heartofdarknessbrewery). Nice cozy place with awesome 90s rock music and some pretty decent beers. Ordered a flight of four (L-R) . Creatures of Darkness New England IPA (6.6% ABV), a collaboration between Heart of Darkness & Little Creatures: Floral and juicy, lots of grapefruit notes, light body, crisp tang at the end. . Kurtz’s Insane IPA (7.1% ABV): Hoppy. REALLY hoppy. But only in front. On the palate, it’s crisp and hoppy, refreshing and smooth. Good balanced IPA. . Good God Hazelnut Milkshake Stout (4.8% ABV): Nice full-bodied nutty, creamy stout that really does make me wish it could be blended into a milkshake. . Evil Takes Two Roads Into Darkness Vietnamese stout (7.5% ABV), a collaboration between Heart Of Darkness, Evil Twin and Two Roads. Inspired by Vietnamese iced milk coffee, and does taste like it too. Coffee, chocolate, milk, and even a hint of brown sugar.
