I have a question, and I mean this sincerely because I’m not sure if I’m looking at it the wrong way. I feel like Maddison is still too young to fully accept or understand changes like this. Later on, when everyone grows older and reaches a more mature stage in life, it would be natural for Lily-Pad and Azura to get married and slowly become a bit more distant from their siblings as they build their own lives. I’m not saying this because I think it’s wrong or because I feel like it’s happening too soon, but because it seems to me that Maddison may still be too young, emotionally, to really process that kind of change. Maybe I’m just imagining it the wrong way, but I wanted to say it honestly.
That’s the thing, while Maddi is book smart (roughly equivalent intelligence that her Mama Marcy had at her age) but she’s not as emotionally intelligent. Shes mostly just worried about losing her best friend. As she gets older and after Lily’s Amphibia Adventure, Maddi does chill out a bit but for now at where it is in the timeline she’s just a kid who is scared to lose something precious
