i found out i was crafty before chapter 3 even released- it was sometime after the smiling critters cartoon released when I found out!!!

i tend to avoid fandoms, but i've seen a lot of the poppy fandom, and VERY few people seem to even acknowledge crafty. i LOVE making jokes about how people "hate crafty" and it just makes me feel more special HELP-

BUT YEAH crafty is so fucking cool, you're so cool, i'm so cool, but i HATE how the fandom just reduced her character to a shy uwu girl that only exists to draw and be nervous at everything

but crafty was my fictionkin awakening, AND SHE MEANS SO MUCH TO ME YOU HAVE NO IDEAA,,,,

I MADE HER LITTLE PENDANT THING AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPY KDJHGKJSDGHDJG

i'm also working on a playlist for her (it just contains songs i feel like she'd listen to, and songs that remind me of her, or songs that make mentally shift to her) and u can get the link if u want it >:] but it only has three songs rn- i created it like yesterday and i'm still working on it

I am so happy Poppy Playtime chapter 4 is out, it is so cool seeing Bobby BearHug and CraftyCorn again (both me) but also. There are so many new characters who I am kinsidering (like Riley) and its like...... Fuck lmao.

Also so many characters I remember being so close to now, too, and idk its all just overwhelming tbh. But also kind of awesome cuz kin memories are so comforting... Idk lmao. Its all just... A lot.

Yunno, I've always had some sort of connection to kidcore / childhood themes. I don't have childhood trauma (that I can recall), but I always feel like I've missed something, or like, I never truly lived my childhood as a carefree child.

I've also always had an artistic and creative mind, and I love creating. I've been a writer and artist ever since I was 9. As I've gotten older, I've always tried to find the art in every day life, and I try to find creative solutions to problems.

When Poppy Playtime came out back in 2021, I instantly had a connection with it. The bittersweet atmosphere, the vintage (I've also ALWAYS loved vintage), the children's toys... It all just felt kinda right to me.

As the game progressed, and this one character, Craftycorn, was revealed, and we learned about her personality, I instantly had a connection with her. I didnt know about Otherkin or Fictionkin, so I just assumed I really liked her. But sometimes, I feel like I AM her, or was once her.

So I looked into the otherhuman community, and came to the conclusion that I am a Craftycorn kin. The amount of comfort that game brings me is immense, and although I don't have the best memories of that place, I remember the touch of one of my friends. I remember giving her hugs. I miss her touch.

It's hard being fictionkin, honestly. I get random mental / phantom shifts (the most common phantom shifts being my horn, my hooves, and my tail) and often get uncomfortable and need to adjust how I'm sitting, lol.

But yeah. Random rant. It's fun to figure myself out, but body dysmorphia is a struggle..
