Ever wonder why I only got ham to show at Christmas? Years ago, I bought a turkey 🦃 but since my house does not have an oven big enough to fit in a big bird, I gotten a pre-roasted and chilled/frozen one. Not only was it too big, but I also had a hard time carving it (I am no pro) and the meat was dry after I heated it up in the oven. Since then, I stopped buying turkey until I saw cute little ones for sale at BreadTalk (面包物语). It was roasted (baked) to a nice golden-brown and small enough to finish at one sitting. 😁 I grabbed Sam the Turkey (S$4.80) and Tiramisu Boluo (S$4.80) bundle for S$7.90 though you can also get another of the bird for the same bundled price.

Meet Sam the Turkey 🦃, stuffed with a hearty chicken and cheese filling, baked to a beautiful golden-brown. The Sweet Chestnuts 🌰 are the only trimming I had on hand to go with the bird. I can’t wait to carve the turkey. I removed the two drumsticks 🍗 then hacked the bird in halves. See, I told you I am no pro at carving, and I think I just slaughtered it instead. 😂 The bird (bread) is firm on the outside but soft inside, stuffed with chunky chicken meat in a savoury tomato cranberry sauce and cheddar cheese filling.

Whats better than a chilled Tiramisu Boluo to finish the meal. The dessert is a soft, chewy, chocolate 🍫 bun paired with a decadent tiramisu cream, dusted off with chocolate powder. I love the crunchy texture the grains of sugar gave when I bit into the bread before sinking the teeth into the chilled and sweetened tiramisu cream. Yummy! 😋
