This tasty turkey sandwich is like a burger with all the flavors of Thanksgiving. Turkey that has been seasoned, cranberry mayo, and fresh toppings make for a delicious treat.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground turkey. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup minced onion. 1/4 cup minced celery. 1/4 cup minced carrots. 1/4 cup cranberry sauce. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1 teaspoon dried sage. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomato. Sliced red onion.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced onion, minced celery, minced carrots, dried sage, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Form the mixture into four burger patties. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium heat. Grill or cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. While the burgers are cooking, mix cranberry sauce and mayonnaise in a small bowl to create a cranberry mayo sauce. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. Spread the cranberry mayo sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a turkey burger patty on top of the sauce, followed by lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, and sliced red onion. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
